WhateverLife: Teen Girl Creates Media Empire By Helping Teen Girls Decorate Their MySpace Pages

Whateverlife.com is a perfect illustration of the empowerment of Internet users to create their own media.

Seventeen year-old Ashley Qualls, aka "Ashbo" is the webmaster and CEO of Whateverlife.com, an online site that provides teen girls with free layouts and graphics for the Myspace pages. Ashley rakes in over $70,000 per Whateverlife_2 month, her audience is larger than the combined circulation of Seventeen, Teen Girl and Cosmo Girl and her website ranks higher than AmericanIdol.com, CBS.com and Oprah.

Whateverlife.com has proved to be a powerful viral marketing partner with one music group seeing 60,000 downloads of the video just two months after being posted on whateverlife.com.
